Dr. Carlos Chacon is a first-generation Mexican-American who has achieved national recognition and success. He was born in Tucson, Arizona to immigrant parents who moved from small towns in Sonora, Mexico to ensure he enjoyed a better quality of life and more opportunities. Today, Dr. Chacon proudly calls California his home for nearly two decades.
He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. After completing his residency training at UCLA/Cedars Sinai Medical Center, he became one of the youngest plastic surgeons ever certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is currently the Medical Director of The Plastic Surgery Institute in Beverly Hills and an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine.
Dr. Chacon has been featured on numerous television shows including E! News, Entertainment Tonight, EXTRA, Access Hollywood, The Doctors, NBC’s Today Show and Telemundo’s Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste. He has also been featured in magazines such as People en Español, Cosmopolitan en Español, Vanidades, Hola USA!, Harper’s Bazaar México and Esquire México . His work has been praised by celebrities including Eva Longoria Bastón , Ricky Martin , Shakira , Sofia Vergara , Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato .
